Chinese vendor sells flatbreads (Image source: @amritsarislive/Instagram)With its rich flavours and diverse ingredients, Indian food has attracted foodies worldwide. Be it a humble bowl of daal makhani, a plate of pani puris, or the ‘viral’ vada pav, these regional dishes have gained immense popularity, and are often raved about by foreign travellers. Recently, a vendor in China was spotted selling Amritsari kulcha on the streets of Shenzhen.
Shared by @amritsarisilive on Instagram, the video shows the vendor immaculately preparing the flatbread popular in Punjab and Delhi. The now-viral video opens with the vendor rolling the dough to give it the desired shape. He then cooks the kulchas in a traditional tandoor, just like street vendors do in India.
“Amritsari Kulcha In Shenzhen, China,” the caption read.
