The heartwarming gesture has led to long lines at the temple as both devotees and curious tourists hope to experience the cat’s unique charm firsthand.

The video was posted by an account named ‘China Focus’ on their Instagram account along with the caption, “In Suzhou, the adorable little cat at the West Garden Temple, sporting a gold chain, is giving high-fives and posing for photos with visitors. It seems to spread blessings and good luck all around!”
