While the world’s still trying to believe that ‘Brangelina’ is over, Norwegian Airlines seems to capitalise on the upside of the matter.
The airline came up with a brilliant and witty campaign from the Hollywood stars’ divorce. As soon as Angelina Jolie filed for separation with Brad Pitt on Monday (October 19), the world over shared their opinion on the split. Using this as an opportunity, the airline on Thursday (October 22) itself announced their London to LA one way cheap-flight smart campaign, saying, “Actor. LA. Newly Single. Seeks likeminded partner with GSOH.”
Though the Twitter post did not mention Pitt’s name directly, it was a clear indication. However, the airline took their brilliance to the next level with their print ad, which read, “Brad is single”. The company released the ad for discounted flights from Oslo-Norway to Los Angeles, where Pitt is based. “Brad is single,” reports the TIME.
By reminding you that Brad is indeed single now, will those smitten by the actor want to consider booking a cheap flight to Los Angeles via Norwegian Airlines? Well, we don’t know the answer yet, but surely the virtual world is going gaga over the ad.
Though the ad announcing cheap flight deals did not create much of a wave, the print version with “Brad” on it has surely left the world crazy. While few believed that the couple’s personal life shouldn’t be a part of such a campaign, no one could actually ignore the creativity.
