On the morning of February 13, a little girl in the US realised that President Barack Obama will soon not be her president. Unable to accept the news, she burst into tears. “I’m not ready. I’m not ready for a new one!” the little girl howls, looking at her grandmother Caprina Harris, who posted the video on February 15. Needless to say, the video went viral.

“My Dranbaby found out that our President Barack Obama was no longer going to be our President!!! He has been her President all of her life,” she posted. The video has been viewed over 2 million times. The grandmother told him that he can only serve two terms and then comforted the little one asking her to write him a letter.

The video soon caught the attention of POTUS and he quickly responded with a heart-warming message for the girl, who happens to share her birthday (August 4) with him. “Caprina, tell her to dry her tears because I’m not going anywhere. Once I leave the White House, I’ll still be a citizen just like her. And when she grows up, she can get involved right alongside me. In the meantime, I’ll keep an eye out for her letter, and we’ll always get to celebrate our birthdays together!” he commented on the video.
