We know how popular Junior MasterChef was and how the kids amazed us with their innovative recipes and techniques. This time a six-year-old boy from Kerala is winning hearts around the globe after his appearance in The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Nihal Raj aka Kicha has become the youngest Indian to be part of the Ellen Show aired on NBC Channel 4. The boy from Kochi started his own Youtube channel – KichaTube HD almost two years ago.
Kicha, who visited the United States for the first time, was ecstatic to be part of the show. In the show the little one cooked Puttu, a traditional Kerala breakfast snack made by steaming rice powder and grated coconut. After tasting it, the American TV personality said that the dish was “very delicious.”
“This kid is a cutie. He showed me how to cook in his puttu kutti [sic],” Ellen posted on Facebook while sharing the video of the episode. The episode aired in the US on Friday.
The little chef came to limelight after Facebook recently acquired the rights for his Mickey Mouse Mango ice-cream video, paying him $2,000. According to a Times of India report, Raj’s mother Ruby said: “It was a huge surprise for us. He is the youngest to sell a video to FB.”
The video shared by Ellen on her Youtube channel on September 23 has raked in over 3 lakh views in less than 24 hours.
Earlier, India’s Got Talent’s semi finalist Akshat Singh also appeared on Ellen’s show to flaunt his dancing skills.
