Top 10 highest tax-paying Bollywood celebs 2024: With the tax season over, a recent report has highlighted India’s wealthiest celebrities for 2024, not only in terms of their earnings but also in their significant contributions to the nation’s revenue through advanced income tax for FY 23-24.
Leading this year’s list is actor Shah Rukh Khan, known as ‘the King of Bollywood’, who has overtaken Akshay Kumar, the highest taxpayer in FY 2024, with Khan’s contribution to an impressive ₹92 crore.

Following him is Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay at ₹80 crore, Salman Khan at ₹75 crore, and Amitabh Bachchan with ₹71 crore.
Other notable actor contributors are Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and more.
Notably, actress Kareen Kapoor Khan contributed to ₹20 crore, and Katrina Kaif paid ₹11 crore, advance tax in FY 24, making them the wealthiest Bollywood Indian actresses, in terms of tax contributions.

In the realm of sports, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli stands out as the highest taxpayer, contributing ₹66 crore, making him one of the wealthiest athletes in India, followed by the former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, who made his mark on the tax list with a contribution of₹38 crore.
Veteran players Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly are also featured on the list, along with current players like Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant.
It’s also noteworthy that the Indian comedian Kapil Sharma is one of the top television sensations on the list, paying an advanced tax worth Rs 26 crore for FY 2024.
