Fortune’s annual ranking, now in its 29th edition, recognises companies that have built strong cultures of trust, community and career development amid rapid technological change and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence.

Compiled in partnership with Great Place to Work, the ranking is based on confidential surveys of more than 640,000 employees at eligible companies. It assesses factors including employee trust, workplace culture, flexibility, retention and the consistency of employee experiences across demographic groups and job roles.

Great Place to Work has surveyed employees globally about their workplace experiences for more than 30 years. This year’s findings highlight strong leadership, meaningful connections among colleagues and employee loyalty as key pillars of successful workplaces.

Other major themes include active listening, investment in AI-ready career development and adapting to an increasingly digital and “always-on” work environment. Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Cisco Systems, and American Express followed at No. 2, 3, and 4, respectively. Wegmans Food Markets, Nvidia, and Marriott International came in at No. 5, 6, and 7, while Accenture and Delta Air Lines placed at No. 8 and 9. World Wide Technology closed out the top 10 list.
