Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, with an approximate net worth of $216 billion, has risen to rank 2 for the first time, surpassing Amazon’s Jeff Bezos at third and Oracle’s Larry Ellison at fourth.
406 of the world’s 3,028 billionaires are women, representing 13.4% of the total. This year marks an increase from 369 in 2024 or 13.3%, with the wealthiest woman in the world, Walmart heiress Alice Walton, overtaking the French L’Oréal heiress Françoise Bettencourt Meyers to claim the top spot among women.
