Top 10 most searched people on Google in 2025: Millions of people worldwide turn to Google to seek information about various public figures.

The Google Year in Search 2025 report, released in December, highlighted the personalities that captured global attention this year.

Leading this year’s list is American singer and songwriter David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd, who saw a massive rise in search rankings due to a highly publicised murder investigation.

Another person who got a lot of attention is Pope Leo XIV, who assumed the papacy in May 2025 following the passing away of Pope Francis.

The election of the American Pope marked a significant moment for the Vatican and Catholics worldwide.

Meanwhile, Bianca Censori, Kanye West’s wife, continued to trend in 2025, largely due to numerous controversial fashion choices and public appearances, as well as ongoing scrutiny of her relationship with Kanye West.

Zohran Mamdani, who is running for mayor of New York City, was also one of the most searched people on Google, largely due to his election victory, which garnered national attention and made him a major topic of US political conversation.

Notably, the sole Indian on the list is 14-year-old cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He is the top trending personality in the country and ranked sixth globally in Google’s Year in Search 2025.
