The earthquake in Nepal on April 26 left a scale of destruction with over 8000 dead and many more injured. Interestingly a day after the quake, the Nepal Photo Project was launched on Instagram to document the destruction and rehabilitation efforts.
The hashtag #NepalPhotoProject was started on Instagram and users were encourage to post photos of the disaster in Nepal so as to provide information as well about the relief and rescue efforts.
Users can email their photos to email@example.com and even check out the group’s official Facebook page here. Some of the photos posted capture the destruction in a very poignant manner. Check out some Instagram posts from the #NepalPhotoProject below.
