Glassdoor, the US-based jobs site company has put out the list of highest-Rated CEOs in its third Annual Employees’ Choice Awards.
On the top of the list is Google’s Larry Page, with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg coming in at number 4. Apple CEO Tim Cook is number 10 on the list, while LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner is number 12 on the list. CEOs of Indian companies who are in the top 50 are Cognizant’s Francisco D’souza (number 33) and Infosys’ Dr Vishal Sikka comes in at number 35.
We take a quick look at some of top CEOs in the list who matter and their approval ratings.
Larry Page: The Google co-founder and CEO has 97 percent approval rating from his employees and occupies the number 1 spot on the list. As the reviews mention on Glassdoor.com, “Free food onsite three times a day is an essential convenience factor.” Guess food is also the way to win your employees’ loyalty. Page was the number 11 spot, according to last year’s list.
Mark G. Parker: The Nike CEO is on the number two spot and has a 97 percent approval rating. In the reviews employees mention that Nike is the “best retail job you can have” and that the company is an amazing place to work.
Charles C Butt: The CEO of Texas based Grocery store company HEB and is number 3 on the list and according to employees good pay and flexible work hours are what makes it a good place to work.
Mark Zuckerberg: In the number 4 spot, is Facebook co-founder and CEO. According to employees,
“amazing office culture and community” is really good at Facebook. And yes the free food helps too.
Tim Cook: The Apple CEO gets a number 10 spot in the list and according to employee reviews Apple has an “excellent work environment” and “the best computers”. Sadly the long work hours are the biggest con at Apple.
Jeff Weiner: LinkedIn co-founder Jeff Weiner is number 10 on the list with a 93 percent approval rating and according to employees the biggest pro point about LinkedIn is that the company “preaches and practices good work-life balance.” Weiner had the top spot in the list last year.
