Not one to be left out in the ‘digital’ campaign ahead of the Bihar polls beginning next week, RJD chief Lalu Prasad chose to target his numero uno opponent Narendra Modi with a dubsmash video, mimicking the Prime Minister’s speeches during his numerous political rallies.
The video, uploaded on the RJD party’s YouTube channel, has almost 2.5 lakh views since it was published on October 2.
From Modi’s famous opening line “mere pyare bhaiyo aur behno” to his trademark slogan during the 2014 election campaign “achche din anewale hain”, Lalu Prasad, arguably India’s funniest politician, covered it all.
Whether a dubsmash video will help Lalu win over the ‘Modi wave’ is yet to be seen, but it’s great that the politician is finally getting active on social media.
