It may just be deep denial, but we don’t think we’ve seen the last of Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, post the shocking Season Five finale. Game of Thrones fans are convinced that Jon Snow is still alive, well at least some of them are.
So why the new found faith in Snow’s survival? Well Kit Harrington, aka Jon Snow, landed in Belfast where Season 6 is being shot.
Check out some tweets from fans below:
Throughout July, several people have spotted Harrington on the streets of the Northern Irish capital. While the show’s producers insist Snow is dead, the recent Belfast sightings have rekindled hope that perhaps things won’t be as simple as it seems. Or sad.
But given that ‘valar morghulis’ (all men must die) is pretty much the slogan for the Westeros world, it’s fair to expect that Snow would have met the same end. Also George RR Martin just loves bumping off characters in the series, so the hope that Jon Snow would have survived was a foolish one to have, some might say.
Recently GoT director David Nutter had told at Comic-Con in San Diego, California that he had met the President and had confirmed news of Snow’s demise to him. According to Entertainment Weekly, the President asked Nutter flat out, ‘You didn’t kill Jon Snow did you?’ to which he replied ‘Jon Snow is deader than dead.’
Deader than dead, says the director. Sure but then what’s he doing at the shooting site for Season 6. Also why has he not cut off his hair? We’re just asking.
