How one clown from US spread smiles among Nepal’s children after the devastating quake

Ron Fowler, a clown from Ohio, US decided to take it upon himself to help the children of Nepal smile again.

The devastating earthquake that rocked Nepal on April 25 has left a death toll of more than 5000 people with another 7,000 injured. As the world comes together to help Nepal get back on track, Ron Fowler, a clown from Ohio, US decided to take it upon himself to help the children of Nepal smile again.

Mashable points out that Fowler had been travelling in the Nepal for the last two months and was present in the country with his family when the earthquake struck.

Fowler, then decided to help the children smile by putting on a little clown show for them, and even gave out balloon animals. He put up a video on Facebook which you can see below:

He has also started a fund to help Nepal’s affected population recover from the devastation, even though he and his family are back in the US now. They plan to continue their efforts to assist with the relief and rehabilitation work in Nepal.


In times of disaster and devastation, children are often the worst hit. With his efforts, Fowler has showcased that it’s not just relief and aid that are needed in Nepal, but also some smiles.
