Videocon A24 budget smartphone launched at Rs 4,699

Videocon Mobiles Phones Division on Wednesday launched its latest budget Android smartphone device – Videocon A24,priced at Rs 4,699.

Videocon A24 runs on the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and has 256 MB RAM.

The 4” device has a 3.2MP rear camera and and 0.3 MP front camera. The device has a 1450 mAh battery.

The smartphone also has several other features including dual SIM,Wi-Fi,GPRS Edge and preloaded apps. The Videocon A24 is available in White Chrome and Black colour casings

The smartphone is also enabled with company’s ‘V-Store’,which enables one to access favourite apps,including games,mail,social networking and new channels.

Commenting on the launch,Khalid Zamir,Head Product Planning & Development,Videocon Mobile Phones Division said,“With the Videocon A24,we seek to answer to the needs of young consumers and first-time users,who are looking to migrate from a feature phone and immerse themselves in the exciting world of smartphones.”
