Samsung Display, an arm of Samsung Electronics, showcased next-generation, AI-first devices and OLED concepts ahead of the CES tech show in Las Vegas. The parade of concept pieces and prototypes that Samsung rolls out to show off cutting-edge technology including AI pendants and AI OLED mirrors are usually one-off experiments, engineering passion projects, or ideas designed to test the waters and gauge market interest.
These products may never make it to store shelves, but they are fun excursions into what’s possible, and some of the ideas could eventually trickle down into real-world products.
Samsung is hosting a private exhibition for global customers during the world’s largest technology trade show, CES, which runs Tuesday through Friday in Las Vegas.

One concept that drew huge interest was the AI OLED Pendant, designed to be worn like a necklace and seen as a potential replacement for smartphones one day. The device features a 1.4-inch round OLED display and offers a glimpse into a necklace-style wearable that focuses on portability and voice control, allowing users to operate the device and check information at a glance, highlighting the growing role of AI agents.
Another concept that hogged the spotlight was the AI OLED Bot, a compact robot with a 13.4-inch OLED face that moves freely and interacts with users using AI. The concept showcases the possibilities of AI-assisted interaction in a college setting, guiding students, sharing professor profiles, and displaying assignments or class updates in environments where voice commands are limited.

Samsung Display also introduced concepts such as the AI OLED Mirror, a 13.4-inch round OLED device equipped with a front-facing camera for skin and temperature analysis, along with AI-driven beauty and health guidance.
The company also showcased its next-gen foldable panels at the Las Vegas tech show. Attendees were given a preview of panels with significantly reduced image quality degradation caused by light reflection or shadowing along the crease, as well as a foldable display concept with no visible crease at all.
