Motorola is gearing up to launch one of its slimmest smartphones yet, with leaks suggesting the upcoming Edge 70 Pro could rival the thinnest flagships from Apple and Samsung.

A promotional video shared by tipster Evan Blass highlights the device’s ultra-slim profile, hinting it may measure under 6 mm — putting it in direct competition with the rumoured “iPhone Air” and “Galaxy S25 Edge”.

While Motorola has so far only confirmed a “Moto X70 Air” for the Chinese market, reports indicate the same device could launch globally as the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. The teaser video places heavy emphasis on the phone’s side profile, underscoring just how slim the design is.

Beyond its dimensions, the Edge 70 Pro is expected to feature a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a wide 120° field-of-view lens — signalling a strong focus on photography in a compact frame. The video also teases a dedicated AI button, which may unlock new smart functions, though details remain scarce.

Other specifications, including processing power and battery life, are still unknown. However, early leaks suggest Motorola could add a higher IP rating for dust and water resistance. With no global release date confirmed yet, the Edge 70 Pro is already generating buzz for its sleek build and premium features, positioning it as a potential challenger to Apple and Samsung’s next-generation flagships.
