With Windows 10, Microsoft has been aiming to unify the user experience across all its devices. Right from PCs to Xbox consoles to HoloLens augmented reality wearable headset, Microsoft is deploying Windows 10 on everything.

Microsoft had earlier announced that its planning to preview Windows 10 for Xbox One to testers in September. Now Microsoft has indeed started rolling out Xbox One preview to a subset of preview program members. Like Windows 10, the rollout is happening in waves and Microsoft’s Larry Hryb and Richard Irvine narrate all the new improvements in this video.

The major improvements with Windows 10 powered Xbox One dashboard is the cleaner interface centered around quick and easy access and discovery. The new dashboard introduces quick-access guide aligned to the left like other Windows apps for friends list, notifications, settings. Microsoft has also added Snap to the guide and apps snap to the left instead of right.
