Ola Electric is days away from becoming the first EV startup in India to go public. Addressing a press conference ahead of Ola Electric’s initial public offering (IPO) on August 2, Aggarwal reportedly said that the company’s market share in the EV industry is equivalent to that of car-making giant Maruti Suzuki in the automobile manufacturing industry. “We have already built a market position for us in the EV space. We are also getting there in terms of margin of leap, as the rest are far behind,” Aggarwal said
