One of Flipkart’s brand called MarQ launched a brand new laptop at CES 2020. It is Falkon Aerbook. This is the first laptotp to be sold under Flipkart’s MarQ. The thin and light Falkon Aerbook laptop is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor. It will be priced at Rs 39,990.
In an interaction with indianexpress.com, Adarsh Menon, Senior Vice President – Private Brands, Electronics and Furniture, Flipkart said, “MarQ by Flipkart has been in the market for two years and is a full-fledged consumer electronics and durables brand. Motorola launched the new Motorola Razr in the US last year. The foldable phone was also showcased at CES. The company has confirmed to bring the Motorola Razr in India very soon. Welt is a smart belt
Welt is a smart belt that prevents falls in people. It is a smart belt with an app of its own and can monitor things like waist size, activity, sitting durations and eating patterns along with gait analysis. The product is “accelerated by Samsung” and is one of the winners of the CES Innovation Awards this year.
A mask that filters air
This product looks something out of a science fiction movie, but Atmos by AO Air claims to offer “between 5X and 50X better air”. It does not have a seal, but creates a vacuum area around the nose and pushes air that has been filtered. It is a bit heavy on the head and is waiting for a better design and build quality, but this could be a breath of fresh air in places like India. Per-orders are on for $350.
Wireless charging like a Guru
Guru could be the future of wireless charging. This new technology offers a zero contact energy system that beams power down through the air using radio waves to charge devices without wires or physical contact. It can be above a conference table charging all devices on it, or on a wall powering a wireless vacuum cleaner. The possibilities are endless, though the product is yet to reach the commercial stage.
On the mat, teaching Yoga
YogiFi is a smart mat that can help you get your asana’s perfect with haptic feedback, voice commands, and video tutorials. It will show green only when you have got it just right. The $289 mat comes with its own app and access to a community of teachers. The product has strong roots in India with an R&D Center in Bangalore.
With Alienware-UFO, Dell wants to compete with Nintendo. This hybrid console is just a concept device and there are no announcements of availability for now. for the moment. The company claims its Concept UFO handheld gaming machine is capable of running full-blown PC games. The device looks exactly like the Nintendo Switch, which means it has a tablet screen and also attachable controllers.
Dell XPS 13 developer edition
Dell launches XPS 13 developer edition at CES 2020. The XPS 13 is powered by 10th gen intel core 10nm mobile processors and comes preloaded with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. The Dell XPS 13 comes packed with fingerprint-reader support and up to 32GB of RAM. The storage options on the Dell laptop starts from 256GB SSD and goes up to 2TB. Check out the pictures here.
Dell foldable tablet looks like this
At CES 2020, alongside laptops, Dell also showcased a foldable tablet called Dell Concept Ori. This tablet comes with a big QHD+ screen (measures 13-inches) that folds in half to form a book-like shape. Check out how the tablet looks below.
OnePlus Concept One with hiding cameras
OnePlus also participated in CES this year and showcase a phone called Concept One with hiding cameras. The OnePlus Concept One comes with four cameras on the back, which opens when the camera app is turned on. The cameras instantly hide when the camera app is turned off. For now, there are no details of around availability and launch of OnePlus Concept One.
