Stick Cricket 2
Stick Sports Ltd
Size: 46.64 MB
Stick Cricket 2 is probably the funniest cricket game available on mobile platforms. The point of the game is simple – you hit the ball and you do it in style. Your stick character starts from local parks and slowly develops batting skills to make its way to international cricket matches, facing some of the toughest bowlers of the Stick World.
There are around 90 levels to master, with game modes like Six Derby, Last Man Standing, No Dots, Survival, Time Attack and Consecutive Boundaries. You have a huge move set in your arsenal, ranging from the Scoop to the Dhoni-special Helicopter shot. Crazily enough, if you would like to distract your bowler, you can easily put on a Gorilla Suit and smash that ball clear out of the field!
This game is wacky and addictive and even if sports is not your thing, this is one cricket game you should not miss.
One More Run: Cricket 2015
Size: 33.79 MB
One More Run syncs the fun of a cricket match with the thrill of an endless runner. The idea of the game is simple. When the batsman hits the ball, you tap the screen to take a run. You tap at the right moment, and your player will run faster. It all boils down to how many runs you can make before the fielder throws the ball back.
As simple as it may sound, OMR is not that easy to master and it only gets harder with each level. You collect dive and swipe tokens, which you can use judiciously to keep yourself from getting out. Every time you make a successful run, you cannot help but share the joy with your little 8-bit runner and gear up for the next run.
So, next time you are waiting for the commercial break to end during the IPL T20, be sure to grab a quick match of OMR to keep the excitement going!
Li-Ning Jump Smash 15
Size: 208 MB
The Jump Smash series has always been my favourite badminton title on mobile platforms, given there are not too many great ones to choose from in the first place. The latest instalment does not disappoint, with all new swipe-more gameplay, PVP modes, and a huge array of global stadiums.
No, you will not get to play as Saina Nehwal, but you will get a chance to create your own anime avatar. With enough tinkering, I nailed a Goku super Saiyan character who looked just as mean, only armed with racquets.
You can choose from modes like exhibition, tournament, training or multi-player and dive headlong into the game. Earn enough JS coin to buy new racquets, shoes and apparels for your character from the JS Shop.
Li-Ning Jump Smash is fast-paced, looks great and worth a shot for all badminton fans out there.
Snowboard Party Lite
Ratrod Studio Inc.
Size: 406 MB
You will come across a number of snowboarding games out there. Each one will promise an ‘unforgettable thrill ride’ yet only a few of them are ever able to live up to the promise. Snowboard party, however, promises all the same things, but delivers more than you can ask for.
Fast snowboarding action with adrenaline-pumping board tricks? Check. HD Graphics that makes the snowcapped levels come alive on screen? Check. Multi-player? Check. Player customisation? Check. Lots of playable locations and an exhaustive goal list? Check and check.
Snowboard party does meet users expectations and engages one for hours on end. With one cool challenge after another, the game manages to deliver something more each time one plays it. So, go ahead, grab your phone and give this one a try, for there is nothing more exhilarating than catching some big air by launching off a half pipe on your snowboard!
