The new trailer for ‘Steve Jobs’, the upcoming bio-pic on the late Apple CEO and co-founder, has been released and this one focuses on the failings of Jobs.
The film, directed by Danny Boyle and the script written by Aaron Sorkin, is based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of the Apple founder. It stars Michael Fassbender in the role of the Apple CEO, Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and Kate Winslet as initial Mac collaborator Joanna Hoffman.
The latest trailer feels more like a thriller and Jobs does not come off looking very good. The trailer focuses on the relationship between Jobs and his daughter Lisa-Brennan Jobs, from his relationship with his high-school girlfriend Chrisann Brennan. Jobs had for a long time denied the paternity.
The trailer also gives a brief glimpse of when Jobs was fired as Apple CEO and his triumphant return later with the launch of the iMac. Steve Jobs releases in October in the US.
