Google has rolled out Calendar for Android feature, which makes scheduling meetings right from a smartphone, easier than ever. Google says that users will no longer have to be at their desk to catch up on meetings notes, dial into a conference call, or send an email.
“Starting today, if you use Google Apps for Work or Edu, you can schedule meetings from anywhere with “Find a time” in Google Calendar for Android,” Google said in a blogpost. The company adds that “Find a time” lets users schedule meetings with others, even when they are in different time zones. Even if users have a conflicting meeting, it can be easily rescheduled in the Calendar with a single tap.
Google blogpost explains that although “Find a time” makes suggestions, its the user who controls rescheduling, meeting timings etc. Users can even manage calendar for others to schedule meetings for them. Google said that the company is working to bring “Find a time” feature for iOS as well, and easier ways to schedule on web.
