Apple Music on Android will now let users save music to an SD card

Apple Music’s latest Android update brings an important that many users will appreciate: The ability to save music on an SD card.

For a lot of Android smartphone users, especially those using low and mid-budget range devices, the micro-SD slot comes as an added bonus, one that can increase the limited storage on a phone from 16GB to 64GB or in some cases even 128 GB.

With Apple Music on Android now allowing users to save their music on an SD card, it saves some precious space for those prefer to keep their extra music, games on external storage.

Apple Music for Android in Beta mode was launched in November of 2015, and was thus the second (so far only) big service app from the Cupertino-giant for its rival Google’s Android OS. So far the app has seen 1 million downloads on Android.

Apple Music app gives users the option to subscribe to the service (first three months are free), and it costs Rs 120 per month for Indian users (Rs 190 for a bigger family plan).

Apple Music Beta for Android supports Beats 1 Radio, Connect and custom music suggestions.
