
Xolo has launched its Play 8X-1200 smartphone based on a 2.0 GHz true octa-core processor at a price of Rs. 19,999. The company is targeting hard core mobile gamers with this model and claims to provide console-like gaming experience.
The device offers eight cores coupled with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory. The Play 8X-1200 houses a Mali 450 GPU at a clock speed of 700 MHz. Featuring a 5-inch Full HD IPS display with one glass solution technology and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
Supporting dual-SIM functionality, the device comes with a 13 MP rear camera with PureCel sensor and dual LED flash and a 5 MP front camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor. The phone is powered by a 2300 mAh Li-ion battery and features USB OTG support which allows users to connect USB pen-drives.
The smartphone comes with gyroscope and 6-axis motion sensing to better the gaming experience which requires rotation and orientation.
