
Redmi Note 6 Pro China launch today: Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be launched at an event in China on November 6, which is today. The launch event will begin from 2pm local time (11.30am IST). The Chinese smartphone maker had launched the phone in Thailand last month, which has dual camera configurations on the front as well as the back. Redmi Note 6 Pro is the successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, which made its debut in India earlier this month.
In Thailand, Redmi 6 Pro is priced at 6990 Thai baht (or approx Rs 15,450. Like its predecessor, Redmi Note 6 Pro is is a mid-range smartphone. The phone should gain traction in major markets where Xiaomi has a sizable presence. The original Redmi Nore 5 Pro has been Xiaomi’s most successful smartphone to date in India.

Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a screen aspect ratio of 19:9. Running the Snapdragon 636 chipset, it will be based on MIUI 10 over and above Android 8.1 Oreo, and is backed by a 4000mAh battery. As per the latest leaks, Indian users can expect to see the upcoming Xiaomi flagship in 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/64GB storage options, the same memory configurations as Redmi Note 5 Pro. Like its recent launches, this phone is also expected to feature Face Unlock, and Xiaomi could announce more AI-based features.

Redmi Note 6 Pro will sport two rear cameras in a vertically stacked configuration, as well as two front cameras placed on the phone’s notch. While the back will see 12MP+5MP cameras, users would find a 20MP+2MP camera combination up front. Redmi Note 6 Pro has been launched in Thailand in four colour variants: Black, Red, Blue, and Rose Gold.
