Xiaomi is getting ready to host its annual Diwali sale on the Mi.com and Mi India app. Just like last year, Xiaomi plans to have some Re 1 flash sales and discounts as part of the Diwali sale. Xiaomi’s Diwali sale starts from October 17-19. The company will have Re 1 Flash sales on three phones: Redmi 3S Prime, Redmi Note 3 (16GB) and Mi 4 smartphone.
Xiaomi will have 30 of these devices up for sale for Re 1 at 2 pm everyday. Redmi 3S Prime flash sale is on October 17, Redmi Note 3 is October 18 and Mi 4 on October 19. Xiaomi will also offer Re 1 flash sale on Mi Bluetooth speaker, 20000mAh Mi Power Bank and Mi Band 2 along with the phones. There will be 100 units of each device up for grabs during the Re 1 flash sale.
Users must share about the Re 1 Flash sale on social media which includes Facebook, Twitter, etc in order to register beforehand and thus be eligible for the sale. All flash sale results will be announced on Mi Community daily and users who successfully add a Rs 1 item to cart must pay within 2 hours, otherwise the order will be cancelled.
Xiaomi is also offering coupons worth Rs 200, Rs 500 and Rs 100 for smartphones, accessories etc, which can be claimed from the website and used on the day of the sale. The coupons are available every day at 10am-10pm till October 16 to claim.
Xiaomi’s Diwali sale also includes a Daily Lucky Draw with the Mi Robot Vacuum up for grabs. For orders between Rs 5,000 – Rs 15,000 customers get a free Mi Key chain, orders above Rs 15,000 get a Mi USB Fan. A laptop sticker is free with all orders.
Xiaomi’s Mi Protect plan also gets 30 per cent off and will cover accidental & liquid damage. It offers free home pickup & drop, and free second servicing within 1 year from activation.
Xiaomi also has some discounts on accessories on the sale. The 10000 mAh Mi Power Bank is priced at Rs 1,099 from Rs 1,299, the Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro will cost Rs 1,399 compared to the original price of Rs 1,799. The Mi Capsule Earphones are priced Rs 899, while the Mi Bluetooth Speaker will cost Rs 1,999 in the sale.
Xiaomi claims to have sold over more than half a million devices in less than three days between October 1 and 3. According to Xiaomi Redmi 3S (along with Redmi 3S Prime) was the top-selling product on Flipkart during its Big Billion Days Sale, while Redmi Note 3 was the best-selling smartphone of Amazon’s Great Indian Festival sale.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is priced at Rs 9,999 while Redmi 3S Prime costs 8,999.
