Xiaomi is rolling out MIUI 10 stable update to more than 20 smartphones. The company in its MIUI Weibo handle revealed the second batch of Xiaomi devices that will get the latest custom ROM stable update.
As per the list shared on the Chinese microblogging site, the MIUI 10 Stable update will be rolled out to the following 21 devices- Xiaomi Mi Max 2, Xiaomi Mi 4s, Xiaomi Mi 4c, Xiaomi Mi 5s. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, Xiaomi Mi Max, Xiaomi Mi 4, Xiaomi Mi Max Prime, Xiaomi Redmi 5A, Xiaomi Redmi 4, Xiaomi Redmi 4A, Xiaomi Redmi 4x, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm version, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 MediaTek version, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, Xiaomi Mi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi Pro. These compatible devices will get MIUI 10 Stable version via an OTA update.
To recall, Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 10 custom ROM was announced at the company’s annual product launch event in June this year. The MIUI 10 features a revamped task manager, gesture controls and AI portrait mode for enhanced Bokeh shots. The revamped task manager is meant to leverage the potential of a taller, full-screen display. The first batch of devices to get the stable China ROM update included Mi 6X, Mi 8 SE, Mi Mix 2, Redmi Note 5, Redmi 6 series etc.
To check for the latest MIUI ROM update on the above mentioned compatible Xiaomi devices, users can head to Settings on their devices and then select About phone> System updates> Check for updates.
Xiaomi recently announced that it is releasing MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM version 8.11.8 which will focus on bug fixes and system optimisation. The Chinese handset maker last week started rolling out MIUI Global Stable ROM update for its mid-range phone, Poco F1. The update brings support for full-screen gestures and includes AI portrait feature, natural sound and ambient sounds.
