Samsung has announced the latest ‘Unpacked’ event where it will unveil the next Galaxy S7 smartphone. As its been a tradition for sometime now, Samsung is holding its unpacked event a day ahead of official start to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Samsung’s ‘The Next Galaxy’ event is happening on February 21 at 1900 CET which translates to 11.30 PM IST. Samsung has put a teaser video which shows a cube with lighted edges to form number 7 clearly revealing the seventh S-series galaxy in line to launch.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is likely to retain the design of Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, but will come with microSD card slot and USB Type-C port. This time however Samsung is rumoured to bring Apple’s Force Touch display in the name of pressure-sensitive screen. Samsung might also launch the edge variant in different screen sizes.

Samsung might also cosy up with Qualcomm this year by offering S7 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC instead of its own Exynos chipset. While nothing can be confirmed till the launch, we will bring you all the updates from Barcelona live.
