Samsung is working on the 10th-anniversary edition of the Galaxy S10 flagship smartphone, reports The Wall Street Journal. The special edition of the Galaxy S10 is code-named “Beyond X” and will launch sometime in early-mid February next year. The premium smartphone, according to The Journal, will apparently feature a massive 6.7-inch display. This means the phone will have a bigger screen size in comparison to the Galaxy Note 9’s 6.4-inch display. However, the resolution of the display is not known at the moment.

That’s not all. The “Beyond X” is also said to come with a total of six cameras: four on the back and two in the front. Recently, Samsung launched the Galaxy A9 (2018) — the world’s first smartphone with four rear-facing cameras on the rear. In addition to a 6.7-inch display and four cameras on the back, the anniversary edition of the Galaxy S10 will support blazing fast 5G network speeds.

When it comes to the internal processor, Samsung’s 10th anniversary Galaxy S10 will likely to be powered by either a Qualcomm’s soon-to-launch Snapdragon 8150 or Exynos 9820 SoC. The Journal reports Samsung is also planning to add a reverse wireless charging feature that will allow the device — meaning it can charge other smartphones as well. This same feature is already present in the Huawei’s flagship Mate 20 Pro.

According to The Wall Street Journal report, Samsung is working on four different models of the Galaxy S10. The “Beyond X” will be a souped-up version with top-of-the-line specifications and features. The ultra-premium smartphone is expected to hit retail shelves sometime in the spring of next year.
