The Poco F1 smartphone will get Android Pie and Android Q updates. Xiaomi sub-brand Pocophoe’s head of product Jai Mani confirmed this on Twitter. This means that the company will deliver software updates to its Poco F1 for at least two years like Google’s Pixel smartphones, OnePlus devices, etc.
Poco F1 will likely get the Android Pie update with MIUI 10 soon as the global beta ROM for the phone is already available. Mani issued the bit about Android P and Q updates as a reply on a tweet made by a user, who asked the company to provide consumers with two Android version updates.
The company earlier announced that the Poco F1 will receive MIUI 10 update this week, which is currently in beta.
