Panasonic has announced updated version of its ELUGA I2 smartphone in India. The new updated version is available in 2GB and 3GB RAM variants.

Panasonic says ELUGA I2 has been the most successful 4G LTE smartphone for the company. Panasonic’s updated ELUGA I2 will be available at a best buy price of Rs 7,990 for 2GB RAM model and Rs 8,990 for 3GB RAM model.

Panasonic ELUGA I2 also come with new 5MP front camera and support voice over LTE (VoLTE). Both the models feature 16GB storage further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

“With the launch of ELUGA I2 product variants, we are confident that the phone will be very well received by tech-savvy youth customers, with its high performance features and competitive pricing”, said Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India.

Panasonic ELUGA I2 comes with 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone has an 8MP rear camera and is 8.8mm thick. The smartphone comes with 2000mAh battery and will be available in Gold, Silver and Grey colour options.

Panasonic ELUGA I2 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with company’s own UI on top of it.
