OnePlus 3 will be launching on June 14 via the VR Loop event, and in India the launch date is set for June 15. Just like the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, the new phone will be Amazon exclusive when it launches in India, and this time no invites are needed to buy the smartphone.
The contest is exclusive to the Amazon India app, and users will need an Amazon India account, India billing address to be eligible for the same.
The contest banner is running right on top when you open the app, and if a user agrees, they’ll be presented with a question. The three questions will appear during these times, each day from June 11 to June 14: 12 am to 10 am, 10 am to 5 pm and 5 pm to 12 am.
A user needs to answer all three questions to be included in the lucky draw from which the final winners will be picked.
OnePlus 3 is the company’s flagship smartphone and according to leaks, will ditch the iconic sandstone finish design, opting for a full metal unibody instead.
Based on a product listing, OnePlus 3 come in six variants, although it is not clear which variants will launch in India.
OnePlus 3 is expected to have a 4GB RAM version coupled with 32GB, 64GB, and 128 GB storage space, and a 6GB RAM version with the same storage space options. Previously OnePlus kept the storage space limited to 16GB and 64GB options.
Other specs revealed by the leaks are: 5.5-inch full HD screen AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera plus a front fingerprint scanner along with Oxygen OS base on Android 6.0.
OnePlus has also announced three pop-up stores for the OnePlus 3 in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, though dates are not confirmed.
