Last year’s Xiaomi 13 Ultra was one of the best Android camera phones, thanks to its cutting-edge hardware and Leica branding. Xiaomi is likely to showcase the successor to the same — Xiaomi 14 Ultra with Leica tuning at MWC 2024. While there isn’t much information about the upcoming device, it is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The device is expected to feature a multi-camera system, with at least three sensors including a dedicated ultra-wide-angle, wide-angle, and telephoto lens. Additionally, the device is likely to ship with the latest Android 14-based HyperOS. You can expect the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to feature a titanium frame, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro. Considering these upgrades, this could easily be an ultra-high-end smartphone.

The company itself has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2a) will sit between the Phone (1) and the Phone (2), both in terms of pricing and specifications. As per the leaks, the Nothing Phone (2a) will focus on basic rather than cutting-edge hardware, and, it will continue to offer features like Glyph lighting, a transparent back panel, and an almost stock Android OS called NothingOS, likely to be based on Android 14.

Nothing Phone (2a) might come with a 6.7-inch screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and the smartphone is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 7200 processor, which makes it the company’s first smartphone based on the Mediatek platform.

Sony Xperia 1 VI

While Sony no longer sells mainstream smartphones anymore, the company still sell high-end phones aimed at creators, and at MWC 2024, the company is likely to showcase its next device – the Xperia 1 VI (Mark 6). According to insiders, Sony’s device is expected to offer a triple-camera setup, with all three sensors offering 48 MP resolution, and the device is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Just like its predecessor, Sony might continue to offer thicker bezels with a slightly taller aspect ratio, and the smartphone might also continue to feature elements such as a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP rating, and a dedicated camera app with full manual controls.

Human Mobile Devices also known as HMD has confirmed to launch both Nokia-branded and HMD-branded smartphones at the MWC 2024, and the company is likely to focus on the budget and mid-range segment. And the company is expected to showcase more than one smartphone at the event. Considering the leaks, HMD could reintroduce a Lumia-like design with a colourful body, and the devices are likely to bring back the vibes of older Nokia smartphones.

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra

Asus might showcase its latest non-gaming smartphone — Zenfone 11 Ultra, which is reported to be based on the recently launched Asus ROG Phone 8 minus the gaming features such as an additional USB-C port. Unlike the Zenfone 10, which was a compact flagship, the Zenfone 11 Ultra is said to be a bigger smartphone, featuring a display with at least a 6.7-inch screen size. The Zenfone 11 Ultra is also said to be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and even the camera setup of this phone is said to be identical to the ROG Phone 8.

Again, just like its predecessor, the Zenfone 11 Ultra could be limited to the select market, and the device is likely to offer almost stock Android 14 OS with a good set of customisation options.

Tecno Phantom V Fold 2

Tecno’s Phantom V Fold was one of the most affordable foldable smartphones at launch, and the company is most likely to announce the successor to the same at the MWC 2024. This time around, the upcoming model is expected to offer better build quality, especially around the hinge area, and it is also expected to offer better performance and improved camera features.

Realme GT 5 Pro

Realme is likely to announce its next flagship – Realme GT 5 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device was originally launched in China back in December, and the company will announce the global version of the same at MWC, which has features like a curved display, metal frame, vegan leather back panel, and the smartphone is also confirmed to offer technologies like wireless charging and IP rating for water and dust resistance.

Honor Magic V2, Honor Magic 6

Honor has confirmed to launch at least two smartphones at the MWC 2024 – Honor Magic 6, a regular flagship smartphone and the Honor Magic V2, a foldable flagship. Both smartphones will be announced on February 25 and the company is likely to introduce several AI features on these devices, similar to the Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones.
