Lenovo Moto’s (earlier Motorola) next smartphone in its X-series – Moto X3 – could run Snapdragon 820 SoC processor, tips a Geekbench benchmark test result shared by Mobipicker. Several leaked details and images of the Moto X (2016) or Moto X3 have been doing rounds online in the past few weeks and this is the latest.
The smartphone is listed as Motorola XT1650, on Mobipicker. The website further reveals that the device will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Moto X3 is powered by 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 820 SoC processor, coupled with 4 GB RAM.
Moto X3 is expected to feature a fingerprint scanner, something which we haven’t seen in any other Moto smartphone till now. If one goes by the leaked images, then the fingerprint scanner is placed below the display. The smartphone will feature a 5-inch display, and support USB Type-C.
Lenovo had earlier confirmed that Moto smartphones launched in 2016 will sport a fingerprint scanner and the new “Moto by Lenovo” branding. According to reports, Motorola G4 and G4 Plus could launch on June 9. With G4 and G4 Plus, Motorola could follow phone and phablet pairings just like other companies have followed in the past.
