Motorola is hosting an event next week where it is likely to announce the next generation Moto X and Moto G smartphones. We previously reported about 3rd Gen Moto G coming with 2GB RAM and Snapdragon 615 SoC.
Now Motorola has accidently revealed almost every detail about the device ahead of launch. The biggest change with Moto G (3rd Gen) would be the Moto Maker customizatiom option. A page revealing Moto G (Gen 3) moto maker options went live earlier and a screenshot was posted on Reddit before Motorola pulled the page from its site.
Moto G (3rd Gen) will come with white or black front panel and a numerous no. of rear panels. One can also customize the accents of the device and there are 10 options to choose from. The device will come with 2GB RAM and 8 or 16GB internal storage options.
In another leak, a video posted on YouTube that reveals even more details of 3rd Gen Moto G. The video is in Portuguese and one can expect a 720p display with Gorilla Glass, 13MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP selfie camera. The video details a water resistant design, all day battery life, Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, dual-SIM support and ability to expand storage with microSD card. Motorola will ship this device with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
There were previously leaks about Motorola introducing Moto Maker in India but we are yet to get some concrete details on that front. We will be at the July 28 event to bring you all the news about Motorola’s new smartphones.
