With Diwali being just a few days away, top smartphone brands in India are offering Diwali offers and discounts for users across the board. Micromax, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Intex, Lava and Karbonn are some of the smartphone brands which have some Diwali deals for their customers. We take a quick look.
Xiaomi’s ‘Diwali with Mi’ sale starts today. Xiaomi India will also host Re 1 flash sales on mi.com/in at 2PM and 6PM on November 3-5. Lucky customers will be able to buy some Mi goods for Re 1 on the Xiaomi website and app.
Additionally Mi 4, Mi 4i, Redmi 2 Prime and the Mi Pad tablet will also be available on discount. Buyers can also get a chance to win a Mi TV, which is yet to be launched in India.
Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime will be available for Rs 6499, Mi 4 for Rs 12,999. Xiaomi Mi 4i will cost Rs 10,999 and the Mi Pad will cost Rs 9999 as part of this Diwali sale.
Micromax has announced an exchange offer for two of its premium category smartphones: the Canvas Sliver and Canvas Knight 2.
Users can exchange their old smartphones and get Rs 9,000 off on the purchase of Canvas Sliver 5 and Canvas Knight 2.
Users can get the Knight 2 or Canvas Sliver 5 for Rs 9999 when they exchange it with smartphone purchased at a value of Rs 20,000 or a Micromax smartphone worth Rs 15,000. The phone that a user is trying to exchange, must have been purchased on or post January 1, 2014 to get the new phones at Rs 9999.
For smartphones between Rs 4,000 – Rs 19,999, which were bought on or after January 1, 2014, customers will get the Canvas Sliver 5 and Canvas Knight 2 at Rs 11,999. The offer is valid only till October 15.
Lenovo has launched three new devices exclusively for the offline channel, A1000, A6000 Shot and K3 Note Music as part of its Diwali offering.
Lenovo A1000 is priced Rs 4,999, A6000 Shot will cost Rs 9,999 and K3 Note Music is priced at Rs 12,999.
The A1000 is an entry level smartphone, while the A6000 Shot is an upgrade on Lenovo’s earlier model of the same name and comes with a better camera. The K3 Note Music comes ceramic speakers and a unique packaging that doubles up as speakers.
Karbonn will sell its leading smartphone models with discounts up to 50 per cent during Diwali. Karbonn Titanium Mach Five, Titanium Mach Two and Titanium S205 will see discounts on various e-commerce platforms, according to the company.
Karbonn had also launched Titanium S205 Plus with 8 megapixel camera, 2GB RAM and 1.2Ghz quad- core processor for Rs 6,790, entry level smartphones Alfa A93 Pop for Rs 3,490 and Alfa A 91 for Rs 3,290 and Alfa 112 for Rs 2,890.
Panasonic India announced two new phones for Diwali: the P50 Idol and P65 Flash, which are priced at Rs 6,790 and Rs 8,290 respectively. The phones feature a 5.1 and 5.5 inch IPS HD display and Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS.
Intex and Lava are offering free screen replacement offers on their smartphones for customers.
