Lenovo Z2 Plus, the Indian version of the Zuk Z2, will be coming to India soon. A new teaser image seems to suggest the phone, introduced this may, will be coming to India this September. The Lenovo Zuk Z1 too took its time coming to India.
Aimed at geeks, the Zuk series pushes the specs and gives users a lot of options to customise. However, this phone will not have the Zuk moniker now. The Zuk Z2 has Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It offers a 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. The 5-inch Full HD phone also offers a fingerprint scanner and Quick Charge 3.0. The phone has a 3500mAh battery. The phone was launched in June.
Lenovo set up the ZUK team as a separate project with the freedom to push the envelope on what they could do with a smartphone. The first phone in the range was the ZUK Z1 which was launched in India a few months back, but almost a year late. At this rate, the Z2 is coming to India real fast.
In June 2016, Lenovo also launched the ZUK Z2 Pro which has a 5.2-inch Super Amoled display as well as a version with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM. This phone also has a slightly better rear camera.
We will keep you posted on details of the Lenovo Z2 Plus launch as we get them.
