LeEco has announced a one-day shopping carnival, which will take place in mid-August, says an IANS report. The company has not unveiled a date for this carnival, but it said such carnivals will be held on a regular basis later. The ‘LeMall for All’ Day will offer deals and discounts on LeEco products including smartphones, earphones and other accessories. LeEco holds similar festivals in China, where it offers heavy discounts on phones, accessories. The company is launching its television sets in India today.
LeEco will also hold lucky draws to give away 100 per cent cashback, and special LeMall coupons to users who win the draw. “The carnival named ‘LeMall for All’ Day will offer several exciting deals and discounts for the users to grab that will motivate buyers to grab LeEco superphones, exclusive audio and other accessories at decent prices,” the company said.
LeEco is set to enter the TV market in India with a range of new TVs. It launched 50-inch models Super 4 X50 Pro and Super 4 X50 in China in May.
LeEco recently launched its Supertainment package in India with its Le 1s (Eco) smartphone. The company emphasises it is not just smartphone maker but is focussed on bringing content to users. The Supertainment package gives users a an access to video on demand, songs and live videos. LeEco announced tie-up with Hungama, Eros and YuppTV for its own range of entertainment services. The company also announced an app named LeVidi, which aggregates videos from across the internet.
LeEco entered the Indian smartphone market with Le 1s and Le Max smartphones. It launched a slew of devices later which includes Le 1s (Eco), Le 2, Le Max2 smartphones and Leme Bluetooth headphones. In our review of Le 2, we said it’s camera is fast and the battery lasts a good full day of use. Le Max2 has some really strong points in its favour. Camera would be the first; for under Rs 30,000, it will please most users. The overall performance of the phone is also top-notch, and gaming, etc should not be a problem.
