Huawei Mate 8, the new flagship phablet smartphone from the Chinese telecom company, has been announced in China. The company has confirmed the pricing for the new Mate 8 smartphone and listed it on its China website, which can be accessed here.
Huawei Mate 8 goes on sale in China from Wednesday, which is today and starts at CNY 2,999 (Rs 31,138) for the 32GB Silver edition, while the 64GB gold edition is priced at CNY 3,699 (Rs 38,406). The 128GB GB version in champagne gold costs CNY 4,399 (Rs 45,674).
The Monarch edition with champagne gold colour is priced at CNY 6,888 (Rs 71,518). Huawei will reveal the global pricing later.
Huawei Mate 8 has an all metal-body and runs the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It supports dual-SIM, and has a 6 inch Full HD screen, IPS-NEO negative LCD display ( 368 PPI) and runs the Kirin 950 octa-core processor with Mali T880 GPU. Huawei Mate 8 has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Huawei has launched the phone with 4 versions in terms of RAM and storage: 3GB RAM in 32 version, 4GB RAM in 64 and 128GB versions. The smartphone supports a microSD slot in the 32 and 64GB versions.
The rear camera is 16 megapixel with LED flash, while the front camera is 8 megapixels. It has a 4000 mAh battery with the 22 hours talktime, being promised by Huawei.
The dimensions of the Huawei Mate 8 are 157.1mm × 80.6mm × 7.9mm and it weighs 185g.
