Huawei has launched Honor 5A in China. The smartphone is a successor of Honor 4A, and will go on sale starting June 17. Huawei Honor 5A comes in two variants – the standard version and another version specific to China Telecom, Unicom and other networks.
The standard version is priced at CNY 699 (Rs 7,118 approx) and the other one comes at CNY 799 ( Rs 8,137). The smartphone is available on sale on China’s Vmall website.
Huawei Honor 5A sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel resolution of 720x1280p. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of Emotion UI 4.1. The smartphone features a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front camera with 4P lens.
Huawei Honor 5A is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card).
Huawei Honor 5A is a 4G-enabled dual SIM smartphone that supports Micro-SIM cards. It supports VoLTE. Huawei Honor 5A has a textured back. It is available in blue, black, gold and white color options.
Huawei Honor 5A is backed by a 3100mAh battery. Huawei Honor 5A supports 4G, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS and Glonass. The dimensions of the smartphone are 154.3 x 77.1 x 8.4 mm. It weighs 168 grams.
