HMD Global has revived one of the older Nokia feature phones, Nokia 106, and the new version is dubbed Nokia 106 (2018). The device features a polycarbonate body with a contoured design, which looks totally different from the original.
This is the third feature phone the company has launched since it got the license to manufacture and distribute phones under the Nokia brand. The company had first revived the Nokia 3310, after which it launched the Nokia 8110. Nokia originally launched the original Nokia 106 in 2013.
Nokia 106 (2018) is currently available in Russia for RUB 1,590 (approximately Rs 1,700). HMD Global has said that the device will be making it to other countries later this month. However, they have not revealed the list of countries which will receive the phone. It has been made available in a dark grey colour option, whereas, the original one came in black, red and white colour options.
Nokia 106 (2018) sports a 1.8-inch QQVGA display with a resolution of 160×120 pixels. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6261D processor paired with 4MB of RAM. The device comes with 4MB of internal storage which the company claims can store up to 2,000 contacts and 500 messages.

The device comes with Snake Xenzia, Nitro Racing and Danger Dash games pre-installed similar to the Nokia 3310 and 8110. Additionally, the company has bundled a few try-and-buy games on the phone too. All of this is backed by an 800mAh battery, which the company claims can provide up to 21 days of standby time or 15.7 hours of continuous talk time on a single charge.
