CREO, the hardware startup has announced new Independence offer for its Mark 1 smartphone. On India’s 70th Independence day, Creo is offering its Mark 1 smartphone at 70 per cent the price.
CREO is a new hardware startup which announced its first smartphone under the Make In India initiative. Creo Mark 1 runs on a proprietary Fuel OS based on Android which promises a new update every month. CREO Mark 1 was launched in April and the company recently rolled out its third OS update.
CREO Mark 1 offers great specifications especially at Rs 13,999 price. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. CREO Mark 1 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset coupled with PowerVR G6200GPU. The smartphone comes with 3GB DDR3 RAM and 32GB internal storage.
CREO Mark 1 is just 8.7 mm thick and weighs just 190 grams. The dual SIM device offers hybrid nano SIM slot swappable with microSD card slot. The CREO Mark 1 backed by a 3,100mAh battery.
On the camera front, CREO Mark 1 offers a 21MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX230 image sensor with phase detection autofocus and dual tone LED flash. CREO Mark 1 is also capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps. CREO Mark 1 comes with an 8MP front camera.
In our review, we had called CREO Mark 1 as a gutsy attempt at developing a different Android smartphone. We noted that, “Creo seems to have achieved a decent value-for-money smartphone.” CREO is offering Mark 1 for Rs 13,999 between August 8 to 15 and can be bought directly from company’s website.
