All BlackBerry 10 devices can now move to latest OS version

The upgrade, once installed, will give users access to new features like BlackBerry Blend and BlackBerry Assistant

BlackBerry Classic is priced $449 globally and will be launched in India in the coming weeks

 

BlackBerry has announced that its latest OS version 10.3.1 will begin rolling out globally from Friday for in-market BlackBerry 10 devices. This means all devices running the BlackBerry 10 OS like the new Passport, Z30, Z3, Z10, Q10, and Q5, as well as the Porsche Design P’9983 and P’9982 smartphones, will be able to upgrade to the latest OS soon.

The upgrade, once installed, will give users access to new features like BlackBerry Blend and BlackBerry Assistant as well as improve battery live, improve the BlackBerry Hub, calendar, camera and multimedia experience. This latest version also introduces dual app stores, offering access to thousands of apps through the BlackBerry World storefront and the Amazon Appstore.

With the upgrade it will become easier for BlackBerry to manager its user base.
