Apple has officially launched its new iPhone series today. Apple is calling the new iPhones as iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with a design similar to iPhone 6 series. Apple’s regular iPhone 7 comes with a 4.7-inch display while the larger iPhone 7 Plus continues with 5.5-inch display. Apple is already preserving the design cards of iPhone series for next year when the device turns a decade old product.
With design not being a selling point anymore, Apple is cashing in on new camera features to put the device in the hands of more users. Apple iPhone 7 now comes with upgraded storage of 32GB storage in the base model and drops 64GB in favour of 128GB and 256GB storage options. Apple has also ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack in favour of lightning connected earpods. Another big revelation was the AirPods, which is a truly wireless earbud with infrared sensor and custom-built W1 wireless chip.
Apple iPhone 7 starts at $649 in the US and it is expected to India at a starting price of Rs 60,000. Apple has confirmed plans to launch the device in India on October 7, just in time for Diwali shopping.
