Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus officially go on sale at 7pm today, but users who cannot wait those additional six or seven hours before the launch – sales of the devices are already active on Snapdeal. It is to be noted that Flipkart is the official online retailer for Apple, and is already accepting pre-orders for the devices. Amazon and Infibeam are also taking pre-bookings for both the phones. Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus were unveiled exactly one month ago (September 7) by the Cupertino giant.

Apple iPhone 7 sales went online at 12am, October 7 on Snapdeal. The two models that are currently available for purchase on the website are the iPhone 7 128GB and the iPhone 7 256GB – priced at Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 respectively. Customers with an Axis Bank credit or debit card will get an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on the purchase, but customers with an American Express card will get a discount of Rs 10,000 on their purchase of the device. Interested customers need to buy their device fast, because the phones are going ‘out of stock’ really fast.

In addition Bharti Airtel has announced that the company will be offering 10GB of free 4G/3G data per month to iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus customers for one year with any Airtel Infinity postpaid plan. This free data will be above the plans existing benefits. What this means is that Airtel is offering 120GB of extra 4G/3G data to users through the one year period.

Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays respectively, but the company claims that the displays are 25 per cent brighter with more accurate colours compared to its predecessors. Both phones are powered by Apple’s latest A10 Fusion chipset, which is the fastest processor for a mobile – in the world.
Apple iPhone 7 features a 12MP rear camera that features an improved f/1.8 aperture for an improved low-light performance, while the iPhone 7 Plus features dual-rear 12MP camera sensors. One of the two rear-camera sensors on the iPhone 7 Plus is a wide-angle lens, while the other is a telephoto lens. Thanks to its dual camera setup, the iPhone 7 Plus will get a Portrait mode that allows a user to take ‘bokeh’ shots, while also giving 2X of optical zoom and up to 10X digital zoom.
The front camera on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus features a 7MP camera sensor capable of taking HDR photos. Apple iPhone 7 features a 1960 mAh battery, while the larger iPhone 7 Plus is backed by a 2900 mAh battery. Both devices will be available in four colour options – Black, Silver, Rose Gold and Black. The fifth colour option, Jet Black will only be available for storage capacity of 128GB and 256GB of both iPhones.
Apple iPhone 7 will start retailing at Rs 60,000 for the 32GB variant. The 128GB version of Apple iPhone 7 will be priced at Rs 70,000, with the 256GB variant costing Rs 80,000. Coming to the iPhone 7 Plus, its 32GB variant will be available at Rs 72,000; while 128GB variant will set you back to Rs 82,000. Apple iPhone 7 Plus 256GB version can be bought at Rs 92,000.
