Sony India launches two 5.1 channel home theatres and soundbars

Sony India has launched two new 5.1 channel home theatre systems; HT-RT3 and HT-RT5 coupled with the HT-CT390 and HT-CT790 soundbar speakers. Sony claims to have launched the home theatre systems keeping in mind the shift of the consumers need for a home theatre to Soundbar globally that can play through smartphones, pen drives, tablets and laptops.

Both the home theatre systems are designed to deliver 600W of power through the multi-angled and read speakers. The 3 channel Soundbar works with the external subwoofers to deliver surround sound, while the two rear speakers will help ensure delivery of wide frequency audio response.

The HT-RT3 can be connected to via a USB and an HDMI-out port that can be synched with Sony’s BRAVIA line of TVs. One-touch connection to the Soundbar removes the complex set-up sequences. The HT-RT3 will be available from today with a Rs 18,990 price tag.

The HT RT5 will give a 550W output, Taking cue from its counterpart, HT-RT5 is also in line with the clean living room concept and has an enabled Wi-fi system. The HT-RT5 comes with a USB (music) and HDMI-in x 3 and HDMI-out. The HT-RT5 will be launched on July 18 and will be available for sale at Rs 54,990.

With 2.1 channel Wireless premium Sound Bar- Woofers, HT-CT790 give a 330W output that is Sony claims will bring music and movies to life with its volume and clarity. The HT-CT390 on the other hand will have a 300W output. HT-CT790 soundbar will go on sale on July 16 for Rs 35,990 and the HT-CT390 will be priced at Rs 24,990.
