The USB drive goes wireless with SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick at Rs 2,790

With more smartphones ditching the traditional microSD card slot, external storage is now going wireless. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick arrived today in India at a starting price of Rs 2,790. Similar to other wireless flash drives, the SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is basically a WiFi pen drive sans additional card slots.

This flash drive is available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options at a price of Rs 2,790, Rs 3,790, Rs 5,490, and Rs 9,490 respectively. It will be available on Flipkart from September 18.

The device supports both iOS and Android operating systems and connects wirelessly through SanDisk Connect Drive app. The device can also be connected to multiple laptops via WiFi. It can also be used to manage files wirelessly between Android OS, iOS, Mac, Windows PC, and Fire devices simultaneously .

SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick works like a regular flash drive but with wireless capabilities, up to three devices can be connected simultaneously for file transfer or streaming. Note that mobile data is not consumed at all while using this drive.

The device supports WPA2 which enables WiFi network password protection and offers two years of warranty. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is a USB 2.0 drive.
