Meizu has launched its firts smartwatch in China called Meizu Mix. Meizu Mix comes in two colour options – black and silver. Additionally, there’s three different types of watch straps – Denim, Leather and Stainless Steel. The smartwatch will be available in China starting October. Meizu Mix with stainless steel strap is the most expensive at 1,500 yuan (Rs 15,212 approx). Meizu Mix with denim strap costs 1,000 yuan (Rs 10,141 approx), and the one with leather strap is priced at 1,300 yuan (Rs 13,184 approx).
Meizu Mix sticks to a circular analogue display, instead of a digital one. The smartwatch is 42 mm in diameter and the screen is protected by Sapphire Glass. Reports suggest Meizu Mix comes with Swiss moment built. The device supports Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It is waterproof and features LED notification light. Users will need to install Meizu app to pair Meizu Mix with their smartphones. Sensors on Meizu Mix includes Accelerometer and Gyroscope. The smartwatch is backed by a 270 mAh battery which is claimed to offer a standby time of up to 240 days. It is unclear if Meizu Mix is headed to India anytime soon or at all.
Meizu recently unveiled Meizu m3 note in India as an Amazon exclusive. The smartphone is priced Rs 9,999. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display with Dinorex scratch-resistant glass for protection. Meizu m3 note is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). Meizu m3 note gets a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. We liked the camera on Meizu m3 note in our review. We said its camera is quick to focus and it manages to reproduce great amount of detail almost every time.
