Lenovo at a press meet in New Delhi today unveiled some of its range of PCs, tablets and smartphones which it had recently introduced at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. The range include ThinkPad X1 Carbon at Rs 1,25,000, ThinkPad Helix 2 at Rs 1,04,000, ThinkPad X250 at Rs 82,000, Tiny in One monitor and Tiny M73 desktop along with ThinkPad Stack in the PC segment.
In the tablet range, Lenovo introduced its Yoga Tablet 2 (10-inch) at Rs 28,990, Yoga Tablet 2 Pro (13-inch) at Rs 49,490, Yoga 2 AnyPen (WiFi) at Rs 22,499 and the Tab 2 A7-30 at Rs 8,500 for the 2G version and Rs 11,800 for 3G variant.
Lenovo also launched its Yoga 3 Pro at a price of Rs 1,14,990. The company claims it to be the world’s thinnest convertible laptop at 12.7mm. It weighs 1.20 kilograms. Featuring a watchband hinge design, the device can rotate 360 degrees and allow users to use it as tablet or a laptop.
The Yoga 3 Pro sports a 13.3-inch QHD+ IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. It runs on an Intel Core M-5Y71 CPU (4M cache, up to 2.90GHz dual-core) 4GB LPDDR3 1600 RAM and 512GB SSD for storage. The Windows 8.1 powered device offers a 4-in-1 card reader (SD, MMC, SDXC, SDHC), a 720p camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, couple of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports and a backlit keyboard. The Yoga 3 Pro will be available at select Lenovo and Croma stores.
Lenovo also showcased its P90 smartphone and Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash, however, did not reveal the prices of the same. The Lenovo P90 makes its debut appearance as the first smartphone powered by the newest 64-bit Intel Atom processor and Intel 5-mode XMM 7260 LTE-Advanced modem. The Lenovo P90 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display at pixel density of 400 ppi and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. Running on a 1.83GHz 64 bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 CPU and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.
The P90 sports a 13MP rear camera with stacking sensor and optical image stabilization for brilliant and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone supports 4G LTE networks.
The Lenovo VIBE Xtension Selfie Flash is an accessory to use Flash while taking selfies. It’s currently compatible with Vibe X2 Pro (yet to be launched in India) smartphone. The pocket-sized flash plugs into the audio jack and allow users to better light selfies. The device acts as a mere external light source if used with any other smartphone.
